Our Purpose
Clash Beginner's Guide is an independent resource with tutorials in multiple languages and links to trusted downloads. It is not affiliated with any client developer. Our guides cover everything from choosing a client and importing a subscription to routing rules and YAML configuration. To install a client, visit the downloads page and choose your operating system. We do not provide proxy nodes or subscription services.
Clash and mihomo
The core is the software that handles connections and rules; the client provides the interface. The original Clash was the foundational project in this open-source ecosystem, but it is no longer maintained. Clash.Meta extended it with additional protocols and networking features before being renamed mihomo. Clients may use different cores, so don't infer supported options from a client's name alone—check the documentation for the core it uses.
Editorial Standards
We organize download links by verifying project origins, release channels, and supported platforms, and clearly mark projects that are no longer maintained. Tutorials follow real-world workflows and are reviewed, but interface labels may change with updates, so don't rely on old screenshots alone. Back up your configuration before editing it, and remove subscription URLs and credentials before sharing logs. If something doesn't match, check the FAQ, then work through the user guide step by step.
Responsible Use
This site offers educational information and configuration guidance for networking tools; it does not guarantee they will work in every network environment. Follow the laws, network policies, and service terms that apply where you are, and use these tools only on devices and networks you are authorized to access. Third-party clients, subscriptions, and websites are managed by their respective providers. Review their permissions, privacy policies, and service terms before use.
